Mission Statement –
VisionCorp is a sales and marketing company specializing in the representation of manufacturers and distribution of products to the converging telecommunications industry. In the pursuit of our goals we will provide the highest levels of service, support, and training possible while maintaining honesty, integrity, and professionalism. At VisionCorp, placing the interests of our customers and their expanding needs, as our first priority, will be the key to our success.
Market Strategy / Core Values –
VisionCorp and VisionCorp Distribution holds the following market strategy & core values as a means for achieving our mission.
•Technical Support – All VisionCorp employees are continuously exposed to extensive technical training in order to provide our customers with the best possible support in the ever increasingly technical environment of telecommunications.
•Training – VisionCorp not only provides on-site training for all of the products we offer, but also provides training tapes and interactive training mediums for many products.
•Customer Support – VisionCorp offers our customers many facets of advanced support. Some of these include: inside and outside support personnel, service after the sale, on-site product installation and/or training, product and warranty tracking, On-site demonstration and evaluations, superior account management, specialized products kits
•Pricing – It is our goal and in our best interest to establish the most competitive price possible in order to gain volume and sustained purchases from our Charter friends and customers.
•Industry Involvement – Our sales staff is deeply involved in respective local SCTE chapters. Additionally, our employees have given many SCTE technical presentations as guest speakers and several are actively involved as board members.
•Stocking -- VisionCorp Distribution understands that many products have extended lead times due to industry growth. VisionCorp Distribution addresses this issue by working closely with customers' personnel in regards to product budgeting, which assists us in forecasting purchases and allows us to provide Just-In-Time (JIT) deliveries. Although all of the manufacture’s we distribute products for, require initial stocking orders, we feel that the products we have chosen reflect current usage. However, as customer-buying trends develop, we are eager to increase stock on frequently purchased products, in order to respond to customer needs quickly.
•Company Reinvestment -- VisionCorp's owner Ed Carroll has taken an approach of reinvesting nearly 100% of the profits in order to grow the company and to offer cutting edge technology to the service aspect of VisionCorp.
•Teamwork – VisionCorp employees pride themselves in the ability to work together. Many of us are actually good friends outside of work. This has given our company a synergy that many companies cannot achieve. We take this one step further by inviting our customers in our circle of friends, which invokes a true interest and desire to see our customers succeed in the endeavors that they undertake. We feel that teamwork inside our company and with our customers is a big part of our success.
Future Vision –
•E-Commerce – With the growing use of high-speed data by our customers, VisionCorp has decided to embark on an extensive E-Commerce project. This project required a complete renovation and addition to our facility to house multiple servers and equipment for hosting our very own interactive on-line VisionCorp Distribution site. We have implemented a software program that will connect purchases from our site to our sales, shipping and account departments for an automated and seamless purchasing experience for our customers. VisionCorp Distribution On-line is operational and remains under continuous construction, Over 8000 products are Available as of 5/1/2009.
•Online Interactive Training – In addition to the on-line purchasing experience VisionCorp will make available an extensive library of technical data and manuals on subjects and equipment related to fiber optic and RF. This library has already been partially compiled and is currently used by our sales staff and our customers upon request.
•Goals – It is our intent to bring our customers a purchasing experience that matches their needs and requirements. It may be an onsite presentation that is needed or just to simply purchase a tool by the click of a button on our web site. Regardless of the situation, we hope to position ourselves to be the obvious choice of the customer by making their job easier and by providing a value to products that we supply.
•Expansion – Our expansion will include our on-line site as discussed previously but will also consist of more personnel in both sales and support. The outside sales territories will span the entire US market and over time will become smaller so that the sales personnel can give our customers immediate attention to their needs.
